Chiefs offer youth product a contract

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly offered their promising MultiChoice Diski Challenge midfielder, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, a professional contract following his displays for the reserve team.
Soccer Laduma report that the Glamour Boys have offered the player a Premier Soccer League deal at the side, although Chiefs are yet to officially confirm the news.
The highly-rated Ngcobo has been at Naturena since the age of 13 and is currently the captain of the MDC outfit. It is believed he has the potential to go on to be a top performer in the senior set up.
The publication say that a professional deal is imminent and he could have a chance to figure in the first team in the near future. The club have been actively recruiting from the youth ranks in recent times with striker Emmanuel Letlotlo also emerging from the MDC squad.
Siyabonga Ngezana is one of Chiefs' most-recent youth academy players to have signed a pro contract, although he is yet to make an official first team appearance.
However, he did feature as an unused substitute for Amakhosi in a Premiership encounter against Chippa United in 2016.
